All memberships are auto-renewing, meaning that PayPal will keep charging your credit card on your upgrade anniversary until you cancel. If you upgrade on March 31, then your next billing date will be April 30.

No. During the checkout process you can indicate that you prefer to use a credit card. However, PayPal will still be the financial institution that processes the transaction.
